Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in nursing from an accredited school required.
• Current RN license or comparable by State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing with 3 years in a management capacity.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour responsibility for assigned nursing departments.
• Lead, coordinate and evaluate unit activities in line with policies and laws.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to leaders and staff.
• Monitor and improve quality, patient and employee satisfaction outcomes.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with physicians and oversee administrative, financial and clinical activities.
