Job summary

Advocate Health Union - Cardiac Cath Lab in Monroe, NC is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular/EP Specialist II with 30 hours per week (3 x 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri). Position includes sign-on bonus eligibility, base pay $35.50–$53.25 per hour, and comprehensive benefits.

Requires graduate from accredited nursing/Allied Health program with cardiovascular interventional training and appropriate licensure or RCIS/RCES pathway; BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist
• Must be licensed/certified: ARRT, RCIS, RCES or RN license where applicable
• Maintain BLS, ACLS and certifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates evidence-based practice and provides care for patient wellbeing
• Performs treatments, therapies, and procedures under physician direction
• Administers medications under physician supervision as appropriate
• Documents patient condition and records in chart
• Communicates with physicians and teammates
• Calculates, interprets and analyzes data
• Supports policy development and standard of care
• Acts as preceptor and clinical resource
• Engage in committee and governance activities
