Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated cardiovascular professional to work in CV/Cath/EP labs, providing expert patient care for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will perform tasks including PTCA, stent placement, IABP and EP procedures with supervision and ongoing education.

Role supports clinicians in a fast-paced lab environment, requiring competency in EKG interpretation, hemodynamics, and extensive teamwork; shift paring includes 7a-7p with on-call coverage for weekends and

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health science program with competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics.
• RCIS, RCES, or IBHRE certification required within 24 months of hire; BLS required; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plans, provides, and documents care for cardiovascular invasive labs patients.
• Operates, monitors, records, evaluates, and maintains patient information.
• Maintains invasive lab equipment and ensures room readiness for procedures.
• Documents, retrieves and verifies data for patient records.
• Mentors others in complex procedures and participates in committees.
