Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an Echo Sonographer I at Morristown, NJ. You will perform comprehensive ultrasound exams, adhere to protocols, and ensure patient safety and education during procedures.

Responsibilities include accurate clerical documentation, interprofessional communication, and contributing to a collaborative lab environment. Eligible candidates hold ARDMS/CCI registration and BLS certification and must maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Registry through CCI or ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Echo Sonographer I.
• Registered Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive ultrasound exams following established protocols.
• Completes clerical tasks and records testing information accurately and timely.
• Communicates with physicians, patients, and center personnel in a courteous, informative manner.
• Contributes to teamwork and mentors others when appropriate.
• Maintains a clean, organized lab area and proper equipment handling per policy.
