Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer on a part-time basis to perform echocardiograms including 2D imaging and Doppler analyses to support physician diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. The role requires registry (RDCS/RCS) or CCI credentials or eligibility, with BLS on hire or within six months.

Qualified candidates will have college-level Echocardiography training, an associate or bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel to multiple Bronson facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires college-level courses in Echocardiography with extensive technical training in anatomy and disease
• Must have or be eligible for ARDMS/CCI registry (RDCS, RCS)
• Registry-eligible candidates must achieve registry within one year of placement
• BLS required upon hire or within six months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms including 2D imaging and Doppler analyses
• Perform transesophageal, stress, and transthoracic echocardiograms
• Document data and ensure timely, accurate entry into the patient record
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards in the lab
• Travel may be required to different facilities
