Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The 13-week engagement offers weekday hours 7 am–4:30 pm (Fri 7 am–5 pm) with weekend coverage and 1–2 call nights weekly, 20-minute response time.

Compensation ranges from $85 to $120 per hour with benefits including health, vision, dental, and a 401(k) plan, plus housing and transportation support.

Qualifikationen

• Board-certified Physician Assistant with cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery experience.
• Experience with robotic-assisted procedures (robotic surgeries) and thoracic techniques (VATS).
• Ability to handle 1–2 call nights per week with 20-minute response time.

Aufgaben

• Cover 8–10 inpatients per shift in a cardiovascular/cardiothoracic service line.
• Participate in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries as required.
• Assist with robotic and open procedures and provide perioperative care.
