Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is seeking a Cardiovascular Critical Care Physician to join our team serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. The role focuses on high-acuity cardiovascular care, including pre and postoperative management, heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support.

You will work within a 24-bed Cardiovascular ICU, collaborate with APPs, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds while advancing cutting-edge medicine.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completed ACGME-accredited critical care fellowship.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care.
• Pennsylvania licensure in good standing upon hire.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in high level acuity of cardiovascular care including pre and postoperative care, heart transplant and/or VAD support.
• Multidisciplinary rounding of ICU patients within a 24-bed Cardiovascular ICU.
• Manage cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical patients, including post-liver transplant care.
• Well supported by APP coverage.
