Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Clinical Scientist - Cardiovascular to lead medical data reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Illinois. You will develop medical plans, review data, and support safety assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop medical plans with the Medical Director and external experts to prepare Medical Management, Data Review, and Eligibility plans.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc medical reviews of data listings and visualizations; identify risks and trends.
• Write medical data queries, respond, and obtain approval of query closures with the Medical Director.
• Support patient profile reviews and protocol deviation assessments under the Medical Director.
• Coordinate with Medical Directors for data review and safety meetings, including slide preparation.
• Manage project scope, milestones, and deliverables; act as the main interface with customers and vendors.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety, and PM to flag data integrity and safety concerns.
• Attend Trusted Process meetings and participate in internal or external audits when required.
• Gain basic understanding of ongoing protocol designs and disease terminology.
• Adhere to data privacy, ICH and GCP guidelines, company policies, and SOPs.
