Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia (UVA) Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking Clinical Research Coordinators at multiple experience levels to join a growing team. The CRC will work with physicians, study staff, and participants to coordinate all aspects of clinical research from start-up to archiving.

Positions include non-licensed and licensed tracks with potential focus on patient care, regulatory, or finance/administrative responsibilities, depending on CRC skill

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, screening, and enrolling study participants who meet research criteria.
• Collect basic information through scripted and non-scripted interviews.
• Planning and executing tasks.
• Organizational and planning tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skill.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Obtaining informed consent from study participants and maintaining telephone and in-person contact.
• Collection of subject data, maintaining appropriate logs, tracking participants, and preparing study materials.
• Processing, preparing and shipping laboratory specimens.
• Other duties may be assigned.
