Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Clinical Practice Specialist (CPS) to advance nursing practice across CVICU and CVIMC. You will partner with leaders and frontline staff to drive clinical excellence, education, and evidence-based care in a high-acuity cardiovascular service line.

The role emphasizes professional development, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and staff support, with a strong leadership and collaboration focus within the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• 3–5 years of recent clinical CVICU experience (CVICU required).
• Current RN license in Florida or compact state; BLS and ACLS required.
• Specialty certification preferred (CCRN; PCCN acceptable for CVIMC focus).

Responsibilities

• Promotes evidence-based practice and integrates it into CVICU/CVIMC workflows.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Provides ongoing education, onboarding, and competency validation for staff.
• Serves as a clinical resource for cardiovascular critical care and partner with interdisciplinary teams.
