Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Clinical Educator for our Cardiovascular Department. You will plan and deliver education, coordinate onboarding, and provide clinical expertise in cardiac and interventional areas.

As a caregiver, you will mentor staff, support certification goals, and participate in safety and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes across a collaborative, faith-based organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved, accredited school of nursing.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with CNS emphasis preferred.
• 3–5 years of Cath Lab or interventional Radiology experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• ACLS Certification.
• Professional Nursing Certification or willing to take exam within 1 year.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and provides educational programs based on departmental needs and priorities.
• Coordinates orientation, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Provides clinical expertise in Cardiac, Interventional Radiology, and Neurological competencies.
• Develops individualized educational plans for staff with leadership.
• Coordinates specialty certification preparation.
• Supports safety initiatives and quality improvement across the department.
• Fosters collaboration with other hospital departments and multidisciplinary teams.
