Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting Alabama standards.
• RN licensure in Alabama or Compact State licensure required.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute.

Responsabilités

• Participates in direct patient care activities under supervision of a physician or advanced practitioner.
• Performs nursing assessments and documents in the EMR.
• Provides patient/caregiver education regarding care.
• Enters electronic orders into the EMR under provider direction.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Performs telephone triage and uses standing orders to educate patients.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
• Maintains patient records and completes required department duties.
