Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to provide care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures. You will collaborate with physicians and the team to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with policies.

The role requires RN licensure or RCIS/RCES or ARRT with CI/VI, critical care/telemetry experience preferred, on-call and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; RN licensure in applicable state OR Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS/RCES OR Radiological Technologist with ARRT and CI/VI OR RCIS program RCIS certification.
• Experience: Critical Care/Telemetry/Hemo/Dialysis background; Cath/EP Lab or Special Procedure experience preferred.
• Licensure: CVN or CCRN for nursing preferred.
• Skills: Ability to complete skill validation and pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
