Bronson Methodist Hospital в Kalamazoo, Michigan seeks a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This full-time role involves scrub, circulator and recorder duties in diagnostic and intervention cases, with responsibilities spanning nursing care, charting, and equipment operation.

Requirements include an active MI RN license with 1 year of experience; BSN or higher required within 8 years. BLS/ACLS within 1 year of hire date; CVCC experience preferred.

Formación

• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the State of Michigan with 1 year of experience required.
• As of December 29, 2013, any nurse hired by Bronson who does not hold a BSN (or higher nursing degree) will be given 8 years from date of hire date to obtain.
• 2 years clinical experience in adult cardiac critical care and/or CVL training preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Set up sterile table according to procedure; prep and drape patient with proper sterile technique.
• Assist physician with invasive cardiology procedures, such as heart catheterizations, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, pacemaker and ICD insertion.
• Document and charge procedures; record lab values, pressures, ECGs and physician orders in logs and computer.
• Maintain instruments and equipment, perform minor repairs and calibrations, and ensure clean, functional lab conditions.
