Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking two Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens support in Webster, Texas. Start date ASAP. Schedule includes a mix of on-site shifts (7A-7P, 7A-5P, 7A-3P) with restricted and unrestricted call, including weekends.

Board-certified or board-eligible with cardiac fellowship and TEE certification preferred. Active Texas license required. AMN provides malpractice insurance and manages travel, lodging, and transportation for contractors, with competitive pay

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesia training with cardiovascular focus.
• Cardiac subspecialty fellowship or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in transesophageal echocardiography.
• Board-eligible status considered for candidates with strong credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular anesthesia for diverse cases listed: Level III Trauma, NICU, cardiac, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, bariatrics.
• Deliver safe anesthesia care during on-site shifts and call coverage.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes.

This facility is seeking 2 Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: mix of on site 7A-7P; 7A-5P; 7A-3P, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call 7P-7A, including weekends 7A-7A
• Types of Cases: Level III Trauma, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Cardiac, Gastrointestinal (GI), Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Bariatrics
• Credentialing Timeframe: 46-60 days
• Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified; will consider Board Eligible, Cardiac Fellowship, and Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification
• License required or accepting IMLC: Must have an active Texas License
