Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physician to support a Houston facility as a locum tenens. Start ASAP with a mix of on-site duties, restricted call, and weekend coverage.

The role involves cardiac, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics and other complex cases at a Level II trauma center and NICU setting.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiovascular anesthesia is required.
• Active Texas license or IMLC acceptable.
• Cardiac fellowship preferred; TEE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular anesthesia for a mix of cases including cardiac, ENT, GI, trauma.
• Work on-site with unrestricted daily call and weekends.
• Credentialing typically takes 46–60 days.

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $376.36 - $407.40

This facility is seeking 2 Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule:mix of on site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends (hours to be determined)
• Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Cardiac, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Gastrointestinal (GI), Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Urology, Bariatrics
• Credentialing Timeframe:46-60 days
• Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified; will consider Board Eligible, Cardiac Fellowship, and Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification
• License required or accepting IMLC: Must have an active Texas License
