Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiology or General Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Largo, FL. Start ASAP; regular 8- or 12-hour shifts; pay rate $368.60–$399.00 per hour.

The position requires board certification in Anesthesiology, TEE certification, ACLS and BLS. Florida license and DEA are required at time of presentation. The physician will perform own cases and supervise CRNAs as needed within a care-team model.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active Florida medical license and DEA.
• TEEs certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

This facility is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiology or General Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Call and requirements: 7a-5p, evening Cardiovascular beeper call, 24-hour weekend beeper call - backup to in-house providers
• Supervision vs independent: Care Team Model, must be willing to both perform own cases and supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's) based on daily census, Physician/CRNA medical supervision model
• EMR: Medaxion/Meditech/Patient Keeper
• Certifications required: Board Certified in Anesthesiology, Transesophageal Echocardiography certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• License required: Must have an active Florida license and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA) at time of presentation
