Job description

Indiana University Health , Indiana's most comprehensive and top-ranked healthcare system, is actively recruiting a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeonto join our growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are in the early stages of developing a new healthcare facility, and we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join us as we prepare to launch this exciting new chapter in patient care for early 2027!

Job Duties:

  • Cardiovascular Surgery for adult cardiac surgical patients
  • Inpatient, outpatient and OR coverage
  • Full-time position

Basic Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must have M.D., DO, or equivalent education
  • Completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship or integrated program
  • American BC/BEin Surgery
  • Open to both new graduates and practicing physicians
  • Ability to obtain an Indiana medical license
  • Collaborate and successfully interact with a multi-disciplinary team to promote high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication skills.
