Carle Health is seeking an additional Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiovascular team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL. You will round on inpatients, assess pre/post-surgery patients, and manage outpatient evaluations, all within our Epic system.

The role requires ACNP or PA credentials with NCCPA certification, a current Illinois RN/APN license, and CV/ICU experience; training is provided.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care (ACNP)
• NCCPA Certification is required; Board Eligible considered
• 2 years of CV or ICU experience preferred; training provided for cardiovascular care
• Experience as a surgical first assistant, including endoscopic vein harvest

Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our expanding Cardiovascular team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join an established and well-respected Cardiology Practice in Central Illinois
• Rounding on all inpatients, pre and post-surgery
• Assess patients in outpatient clinic pre and post-surgery
• Typical schedule will be M-F / 8:00a-5:00 pm; 1 in 2 weekends; shared holidays
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• NCCPA Certification (Board Certified) required; Board Eligible candidates will be considered
• 2 years of experience preferred in Cardiovascular or ICU settings; candidates with a strong clinical foundation and an interest in cardiovascular care will be considered, with training provided
• Experience as a surgical first assistant, including endoscopic vein harvest

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
• NCCPA Certification required; Board Eligible candidates will be considered if eligible for certification and licensure pathways

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
