Job summary

Medical City Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to join an established and growing employed practice, with coverage across Medical City Fort Worth, Medical City Alliance and Medical City North Hills serving the greater Fort Worth metroplex.

The position offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment with access to advanced cardiac programs and state-of-the-art facilities across multiple Medical City campuses.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
• Texas medical license eligibility required
• Open to experienced surgeons and new graduates
• Strong team-oriented approach across cardiology, anesthesia, critical care, and surgical services
• Coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement
• Advanced programs include LVAD, TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, and ECMO
• Facilities include a 16 bed CVICU, four heart surgery rooms, dedicated perfusion, one hybrid OR and robust EP and Cath lab support
• Position is based at Medical City Fort Worth with coverage across three Medical City hospitals
• Join an experienced team of three cardiothoracic surgeons and three advanced practice providers
• Dedicated cardiac anesthesiology team
• Collaborative care model with 25+ Interventional Cardiologists

Qualified Candidates

• Physician must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
• Eligibility for a Texas medical license is required
• We are open to both experienced surgeons and new graduates who are looking to join a dynamic, collaborative team
• Strong team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams including cardiology, anesthesia, critical care, and surgical services
• Coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement
• Advanced programs include LVAD, TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic surgery, and ECMO
• Facilities include a 16 bed CVICU, four heart surgery rooms, dedicated perfusion services, one hybrid ORs, and robust EP and Cath lab support
