Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery inpatient APP team. The APP will perform first assisting, vein/radial artery harvesting, and manage critical care and medical care of CTS patients. 2+ years APP experience preferred.

The role operates in a team-based care model with physicians to deliver high-level cardiac care at a nationally recognized program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• MI PA license required upon hire.
• PA-C NCCPA certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 90 days or ARC version within 90 days.
• PALS certification within 120 days.
• ACLS certification within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assisting in cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Critical care management of cardiothoracic surgery patients.
• Collaborate with physicians in a team-based care model to deliver high-level cardiac care.
