Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting a Charleston-area facility in locating a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for locum tenens support. The role involves 24-hour call coverage and participation in EVH, endovascular procedures, and surgical vein harvesting in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

The assignment includes operating room and floor coverage with ongoing need for 2–7 days of coverage per month. Active SC PA license is required and EVH certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with EVH, endovascular procedures and surgical vein harvesting required.
• EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW) used for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital setting including operating room and floor coverage.
• Assist with complex cardiovascular surgeries.
