AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) for locum tenens coverage in Orange Park, FL. ASAP start; 24-hour call shifts with weekday and weekend coverage through December.

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active Florida PA-C or APRN license (or eligibility) and current DEA are required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital-based cardiothoracic surgery service with emergency call coverage.
• Provide patient care during 24-hour call shifts; assist with CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other CT surgery procedures.
• Support 30 patient volume with comprehensive perioperative care as part of a cardiothoracic team.
