Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens coverage in Lexington, KY. This inpatient position focuses on cardiothoracic surgical care and vein harvest, chest tube placement, and related perioperative tasks.

Must hold board certification with BLS and ACLS, possess Kentucky licensure, and complete credentialing within 90–110 days. Epic is the EMR system.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule: 7am-7am 24 hours


• Practice Setting: Inpatient


• Types of Cases: surgical, vein harvest, chest tube placement,


• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-110 days


• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic


• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support


• Licensure Required: Kentucky
