Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants in O'Fallon, IL is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a collaborative team delivering advanced cardiac surgical care. The role emphasizes valve surgery and collaboration with Structural Heart specialists within a well-established program.

You will participate in TAVR and thoracic procedures, contributing to program growth while prioritizing patient-centered care in a modern surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA (prior to start).
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Experience in adult cardiac surgery including CABG and valve procedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment and collaboration skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Visa status: H1B supported; J1 ineligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult cardiac surgical care including CABG, aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Cardiovascular team and Structural Heart specialists.
• Participate in TAVR evaluation and surgical support.
• Contribute to growth and development of the cardiac program while maintaining patient-centered care.
