Job summary
Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our established program in O’Fallon, IL. You will perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG and valve repair/replacement, collaborating with cardiologists, interventional specialists, and the Structural Heart Team to advance comprehensive cardiac care.

Qualifications
- Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA (prior to start).
- BE/BC in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Strong background in adult cardiac surgery.
- Experience with aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement.
- Experience with CABG and other adult cardiac procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Visa status: H1B supported; J1 ineligible.
Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise adult cardiac surgical procedures including CABG and valve repair/replacement.
- Collaborate with the Structural Heart Team for TAVR evaluation and surgical support.
- Contribute to growth and development of the cardiac and Structural Heart services.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular program.
