Pay Rate: $383,000 - $430,000 annually
The Department of Radiology at the Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a Cardiothoracic Radiologist who must be ABR certified or eligible by the start date. This faculty position ranges from Assistant Professor to Professor and includes clinical and teaching duties. The candidate will serve at the new UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty Research Hospital and other affiliated facilities, which are regional referral centers for trauma, oncology, surgery, general medicine, and organ transplantation.
Qualifications include a Medical Degree, completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency, board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, fellowship training in Cardiothoracic or Chest Radiology, and the ability to obtain a Texas Medical License prior to starting. Responsibilities include diagnostic radiology with a focus on cardiothoracic and chest imaging, cardiac radiology (CT and MRI), teaching medical students, mentoring residents, participating in research, providing clinical care, and engaging in conferences.
