PALM Health in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a busy heart program. This role involves primarily first assisting in the operating room but encompasses the full continuum of care, including pre-op, post-op, some ICU, and clinic duties. Ideal candidates will be licensed in Georgia and proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, with BLS and other certifications. Comprehensive salary and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia.
• Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist primarily in the operating room.
• Handle pre-op and post-op duties.

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in a very busy heart program! This role is primarily first assisting in the operating room, but it is a full continuum of care position with not only OR duties, pre‑op, post‑op, some ICU and clinic. Work with cutting edge technology, great team environment and growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
• Proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
