CompHealth APP is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Chapel Hill, NC. The role includes OR first assist duties, night and weekend call, and a collaborative surgical team environment.

Expect approximately 6-8 patients per day as part of the team; housing and travel are provided, and licensing and malpractice costs are covered. Assignment spans 13 weeks with potential continued opportunities.

Qualifications

• Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• 13 weeks duration for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• O.R. first assistant is required.
• Night call 5-6 nights per month.
• Weekend call 1 per month for emergency surgeries only.
• Average 6-8 patients per day, seen as a team.
• EVH, CABG, valve, and aortic procedures.
