Job summary

The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia invites applications for a tenure-ineligible Clinical Instructor in Cardiothoracic Imaging track, starting July 1, 2026. The fellowship focuses on balanced cardiovascular and thoracic imaging, CT/MRI interpretation, and image acquisition with stress testing and congenital heart disease.

The program includes daily teaching of residents and medical students, participation in multidisciplinary conferences with Cardiology,

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and residency in diagnostic radiology completed at an ACGME-accredited program or RCPSC-recognized program.
• Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CT and MRI of the cardiovascular system and thoracic imaging.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary conferences with Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Pulmonology and Pathology.
• Engage in teaching of residents and medical students; pursue research during the fellowship.
