Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our Cardiothoracic ICU. You will collaborate with medical providers and care team members, applying established nursing models to support recovery and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Qualified candidates must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date and hold an RN with an Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• RN with an Associate Degree (RN)

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Manages evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement to meet quality measures and enhance patient outcomes.
