Wapa is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our cardiothoracic critical care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
• LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan required upon hire.
• CRT-Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) by NCCPA required upon hire.
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required within 90 days.
• PALS Certification (AHA) required within 120 days.
• ACLS Certification (AHA) required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and thoracic diseases.
• Coordinating care plans with consulting physician services and ancillary teams.
• Managing ICU procedures and emergency responses.
