Job description

Work Dates Needed: Immediate Need for 3 month contract

Preferred Schedule: Mon-Fri schedule; 14 shifts estimated needed per month; schedule is flexible. Weekend & Evening call coverage.

Work Setting: Hospital | Cardiothoracic Surgery Operating Room

Scope of Work: Cardiac-surgery APP coverage for Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates. Role will be First-Assisting in the OR, as well as inpatient rounding and consults. CT surgery team does not do advanced heart failure, VADs, or transplants.

Procedures: Conduit-harvesting; EVH: Maquet Vasoview HemoPro 2, as well as typical ICU procedures such as arterial and venous line placement, removal of pacing wires, chest tubes, and IABP's.

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: OH license, DEA, Acute Care Board certified NP w/RNFA certificate, BLS/ACLS, as well as a minimum of 1 year experience as a CTS First Assist.

Pay Rate Preferred: $120 - $130/hr + expenses covered.
