Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to provide on-site cardiothoracic surgical coverage in Kentucky. The DNP will assist surgeons during operative cases, with weekday OR hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and mandatory 24-hour call.

Weekend rounding and call responsibilities apply, with all documentation in Epic EMR. Board certification is not required, but relevant cardiothoracic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• DNP required for the assignment.
• Board certification not required for this locum tenens role.
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative cases in the on-site OR.
• Provide on-site coverage during Weekdays 7:00 AM–4:00 PM and participate in 24-hour call.
• Respond to weekend call and rounding duties.
• Document all clinical care through the Epic EMR system.
