Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a DNP to provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in an on-site operating room in Kentucky. You will assist surgeons during operative cases and ensure continuity of care for an adult patient population.

Weekday OR hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with call and 24-hour call required. Weekend call duties include rounding and serving as first call; all clinical notes are recorded in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• DNP required with cardiothoracic surgical experience.
• On-site operative room coverage and 24-hour call required.
• Epic EMR documentation used for all cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in the OR and assist surgeons.
• Maintain clinical documentation and communicate with team during coverage.
