Job summary

Northwell Health's Department of Radiology is growing and actively seeking Cardiothoracic Radiologists to join our team. There is no weekend or evening call, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options available.

Our Cardiothoracic division handles imaging for CAD, structural heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and lung diseases, and participates in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences. Opportunities include academic appointments at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and research at

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
• Fellowship in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Imaging preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Eligibility for unrestricted New York medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic radiology imaging coverage across modalities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend tumor boards.
• Participate in academic activities and clinical conferences.

Education

Job description

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is growing and actively seeking Cardiothoracic Radiologists to join our team. There is No Weekend or Evening Call, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options available.

Our Cardiothoracic division is involved in imaging of coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, cardiomyopathies, lung cancer screening, occupational diseases, and interstitial lung diseases. The Cardiothoracic division hosts several multidisciplinary clinical conferences and tumor boards. Opportunities in academics include an appointment at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and research at Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.

Qualifications:

• MDor DOdegree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Radiology
• Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship preferred; candidates with equivalent experience or willingness to train are welcome to apply
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
