Job summary

Banner Health Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiothoracic team. The APP will round on hospital floor patients, see clinic patients, and provide surgical first assist in the OR, in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualified candidates must have 1–2 years cardio-thoracic experience, be PA-C or ACNP with RNFA, and hold or be eligible for Wyoming licensure with DEA prescriptive authority and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years cardio-thoracic surgical experience required.
• PA-C or ACNP with RNFA certificate at time of application.
• Documentation of surgical first assistant training as part of program.
• Wyoming licensure or eligibility.
• DEA with prescriptive authority.
• ACLS and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Round on hospital floor patients and see patients in the clinic.
• Provide surgical first assistance in the operating room.
• Work in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgery environment as part of a team.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part ofaquickly growing Cardiovascular Surgery Group who are doing remarkable things!Based out of Wyoming Medical Center, this position will help support expansion and growing market shares in Casper and surrounding areas.

• 1 - 2 years' Cardio-Thoracic surgicalexperience requiredincluding endo vein harvesting
• PA-C or ACNP w/RNFA Certificate at the time of application
• Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program or Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee
• Licensed in Wyoming or eligible for licensure
• DEAwith prescriptive authority
• ACLS/BLS
• Full-time | 40 hr. per week with schedule flexibility
• Call required
