Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team. This inpatient-based role involves working with seasoned Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the operating room and hospital setting to deliver comprehensive perioperative care.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in perioperative and postoperative patient management, with a focus on exceptional patient outcomes and a supportive, collaborative work

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible for New Jersey licensure.
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient-based care alongside Cardiothoracic Surgeons in OR and hospital settings.

Virtua Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing and highly collaborative team. This inpatient-based role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons in both the operating room and hospital setting, providing exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey.

Position Highlights

• Full-time
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Inpatient-only position
• Collaborative practice environment with Cardiothoracic Surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Opportunities to participate in perioperative and postoperative patient management

Qualifications

In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all physician roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $144,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
