Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a part-time role (12-hour day shift, 24 hours per week) in the United States. The therapist administers cardiopulmonary care under physician direction, performs diagnostic tests, and provides rehab for chronic cardiopulmonary diseases.

The role requires an RRT credential, Kansas licensure, and BLS; an associate degree from a CoARC-approved program is preferred. Experience with ventilators and arterial blood gases is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from CoARC program preferred.
• RRT credential required (NBRC).
• Kansas licensure as Respiratory Therapist required.
• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review EMR for physician orders and patient info to assess treatment needs.
• Set up and operate respiratory devices (ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, aerosols).
• Monitor vital signs, ABGs, and patient responses to therapy.
• Provide patient and family education on cardiopulmonary disorders and treatments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control in procedures.
