Virtua Health is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Care Practitioner for Cardiopulmonary Rehab in Egg Harbor Township. The role delivers cardio-respiratory care, assesses patients, and develops individualized plans in collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program credential, RRT or eligibility, NJ licensure, and BLS, with ACLS to be obtained within six months of hire. On-site responsibilities include healthcare delivery and education.

Formación

• RRT credentialing; ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care.
• New Jersey licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient assessments and develops individualized respiratory care plans.
• Administers prescribed treatments/medications.
• Demonstrates competency in invasive and non-invasive ventilator care.
• Demonstrates competency in Blood Gas Laboratory and related procedures.
• Provides patient and family education on medications and wellness.
• Setup, operates, and maintains medical gas delivery and humidification systems.
• Documents patient care activities using electronic systems.
