Qualifications

• Current CPR, PALS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs case management core functions.
• Facilitates patient/family ability to manage their own health care when appropriate.
• Works with physicians and health team to coordinate rehabilitation plan of care.
• Collaborates with insurance/managed care to obtain and maintain provider status and reimbursement.
• Acts as resource to health care team on diagnosis, treatments and therapeutic trends.
• Reviews requirements for Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Certification and implements processes within one year.
• Performs duties of the Pulmonary Lab Respiratory Therapist when needed.
