Position: Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator
Use your clinical skills to educate patients and caregivers about complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support.
- Visit patients primarily within the Los Angeles area, with flexibility to travel throughout California approximately 20-30% of the time, including overnight visits.
- Reside within one hour of Los Angeles International Airport.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy, and sales teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Provide specialized nursing care within a home care setting, supporting infusion and inhaled therapies for PAH.
- Build strong relationships with patients and caregivers in one-on-one settings.
- Maintain excellent customer service and computer skills for effective communication with partners.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Travel Details:
- Travel mainly by car and airplane to see patients, support sales, and conduct training.
- Local travel within Greater Los Angeles (~70-80%), with 20-30% travel across California.
- Overnight travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
- Work from home when not visiting patients.
Qualifications:
- Must reside within one hour of Los Angeles International Airport.
- Current RN license in CA; ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
- At least 2 years of critical care or high-tech home infusion experience.
- Strong relationship-building skills with medical and clinical personnel.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Participation in on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience caring for PAH patients (preferred but not required).
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience (preferred).
- CRNI certification (preferred).
Education:
RN Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

- Weekly hours: 40
- Full-time position
- Pay range: $32.01 - $68.55/hour, based on experience and other factors.
