CVS Health is seeking a Cardiopulmonary Educator to educate patients and caregivers on PAH therapies, providing infusion training and clinical support in a home-care setting. The role is full-time and requires an RN license with multi-state capability.

Expect extensive travel (about 85%), primarily to the Bronx, Westchester, Upper Manhattan, Long Island, CT, and Upstate NY, with some days working from home.

• Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
• Participate in the on call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
• Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
• Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.
• Have and maintain current CPR certification.
• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance

Position Summary

As a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical skills to be an educator to your patients and their caregivers, helping them understand their complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support.

This is a direct-hire, full-time position. In this role you will:

• Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient’s plan of care.

Travel:

• Travel will be via car and occasionally airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed.
• One can expect to travel approximately 85% of the time. Approximately 60% of the time will be spent visiting patients in the Bronx, Westchester County and Upper Manhattan. Approximately 20% of the time will be spent visiting patients on Long Island and into CT. The remaining 20% of the time will be in Upstate NY and into other East Coast states.
• When not visiting patients, you will work from home and this will be approximately 10-15% of the time.
• Candidates must reside within one hour of a major airport.
• Overnight travel is a possibility, especially when on-call once every 4-6 weeks.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension – PAH is preferred, but not required
• Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required
• CRNI certification is preferred, but not required
• Bilingual - Spanish is helpful, but not required

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,575.00 - $142,576.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
