Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of medical scheduling experience required.
• Prior authorization and referral experience required.
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and scheduling workflows.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience working with multiple computer applications and insurance websites.
• Cardiology or specialty practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule diagnostic testing and patient procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Obtain prior authorizations and insurance referrals.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding authorizations and coverage.
• Manage a high volume of incoming patient and provider phone calls.
