Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Technician to perform electrocardiography, exercise testing, and pacemaker clinic support for pediatric patients in a hospital setting.

You will conduct ECG procedures, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and tilt table exams while ensuring accurate documentation and ongoing professional development within a leading pediatric environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or Certified Cardiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in cardiology and pediatrics preferred.
• Understanding of electrocardiograms and training in exercise stress testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrocardiogram procedures for interpretation incorporating age related and developmental specific requirements.
• Performs cardiopulmonary exercise testing and stress echo testing with respiratory gas measurements and spirometry in a clinical setting.
• Performs Holter monitor placement and analysis.
• Performs tilt table exams and analysis.
• Assist with pacemaker clinic as directed by physician.
• Ensures accuracy of all patient documentation.
• Maintains professional development and participates in departmental goals.

Job Description

To provide the highest quality age-appropriate care within the scope of practice and established standards for electrocardiography, pacemaker analysis, and cardiac stress testing. Performs prescribed Non-Invasive Cardiology testing to identified patients. To proactively support the efforts that ensures delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related field or Certified Cardiology Technologist

Certification Summary

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
