Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula is seeking a Cardiology Technician to deliver patient care across all ages. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, assisting with stress tests and ambulatory recordings, and reporting significant findings to the physician for urgent care.

The role requires on-call availability and participation in ongoing department education. Ideal candidates will have prior independent 12-lead EKG experience, stress testing in an acute care setting, CVIS

Competenze

• Requires ability to perform 12-lead EKG independently.
• Experience with stress testing in an acute care facility.
• Familiarity with CVIS data query, tables, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with monitoring/coding for automated MD payment systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.

Mansioni

• Perform EKGs and assist with stress testing.
• Support ambulatory monitoring (Holter, event, ambulatory BP).
• Report findings to interpreting physician promptly and accurately.
• Attend in-services and pursue continuing education as assigned by supervision.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
