Job summary

Montage Health in California is seeking a Cardiology technician to perform EKGs, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring as part of a per diem team. You will report findings to physicians and participate in on-call rotations, while maintaining patient care across ages in an acute care setting.

The role requires AHA BLS certification, independent 12-lead EKG experience, and CVIS familiarity. Per diem hours include weekend availability and shift differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience performing 12-lead EKG independently prior to hire.
• Stress testing experience in an acute care facility.
• Experience with cardiovascular information systems (CVIS) including data queries and table building.
• Familiarity with stress test systems, EKG systems and their CVIS integration.
• Experience with monitoring/coding for automated MD payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients of all ages and perform EKGs and stress testing.
• Assist with stress Echoes, nuclear stress tests, and ambulatory recordings.
• Report findings to the interpreting physician for urgent care.
• Attend in-services and continuing education as required.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
