Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking skilled Sonographers and Echosonographers to join our system of hospitals across Florida. You will perform diagnostic cardiology ultrasound imaging and related procedures under supervision, contributing to high-quality patient care and accurate interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography, with ARDMS/CCI guidelines as required.
• Maintains ARDMS physics registry and one ARDMS registry.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and invasive cardiology ultrasound diagnostics and equipment operation.
• Solves complex problems and exercises judgement based on multiple sources of information.
• Recognizes normal and abnormal anatomy and documents pertinent clinical information.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive cardiology diagnostic exams with the cardiologist and can work independently without supervision.
• Adheres to regulations and provides high-quality imaging and patient care.
