Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support the Cardiology Department's CV Prep & Recovery unit. You will provide patient care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and assist with non-invasive cardiac testing according to protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting records, coordinating patient teaching, performing CPR if needed, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN license required.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 6 months.
• Cardiology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care in the Cardiology Department.
• Administer medications and supervise non-invasive cardiac tests.
• Monitor vitals/hemodynamics and assess patients throughout stay.
• Document nursing records and coordinate patient teaching.
• Perform CPR if necessary and participate in quality improvement activities.
