Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is looking for a Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Larkspur, California. The RN will be responsible for coordinating patient care in the Cardiology Clinic, educating patients on their cardiovascular conditions, and assisting with patient discharge medications.

The ideal candidate should have a BSN degree, at least two years of experience in a cardiovascular setting, and must hold a current California RN license. This role also involves participating in Transition of Care Management and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a cardiovascular clinic and/or hospital nursing.
• Experience in a critical care or cardiac inpatient unit preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post-operative education for Cardiology and EP procedures.
• Educate patients about their cardiovascular condition and explain treatment options.
• Update medication and problem lists in the Electronic Health Record.
